Our History
|
My grandfather's oldest brother Oscar Behnke began our family agency in 1914 as Behnke Insurance. When he passed away, my grandfather Carl Behnke took over and ran the agency until his passing in 1967. My grandmother then ran the agency until my father purchased it in 1970.

Jim Nicla my father took over in 1970 and he changed the name to Behnke-Nicla Insurance Agency and didn't drop Behnke until 1984. I took the agency over with his mother in 1990 at the passing of my dad. I have now passed 33 years - I continue to enjoy serving my clients here in Sheboygan and all throughout Wisconsin.
